Description

Heavy Rubberized rolling cloth 36" x 36" x 1/16" thick
For blending pulverized material or other small samples.

Excerpt from Taggart (1945):
"Rolling is accomplished by drawing the corners of the cloth horizontally toward diagonally opposite corners, causing the sample to roll over and over on itself. If the corner is lifted instead of drawn horizontally, the sample merely slides along the surface of the cloth and no mixing occurs."
Plastic sheeting should not be used for blending because of the static charges that build up, causing retention of some particles and difficulty in cleaning.
