“Cookson” Gold & Free Granular Litharge (PbO)

A Reddish-brown coarse granular assay litharge that is C.P. grade (chemically pure). This material is used for fire assaying processes for the quantitative determination of gold and other precious metals in an ore. Very low in gold, and is milled to a uniform particle size for enhanced reactivity and consistency of reaction.
