Ceramic Cupel Tray (6.1 x 6.4″)

Description

Ceramic cupel trays can be loaded into the furnace during the cupellation process, and then the entire tray removed when completed.  They protect the furnace floor, and have a curb on three sides.  Use Maborite magnesia powder or bone ash powder on top of the tray to absorb any spills or leakage.  These trays can also be used to handle annealing crucibles. 

Typically used at temperatures 1200-1300C (2200-2375^oF)
