Cress C136 Single Chamber Furnace with Watlow PM6 controller USES: This furnace is designed for general use in the shop, laboratory or factory that require temperatures from 300^oF to 2250^oF. Their use includes heat treating metals, ashing processes, assaying and all types of testing. TEMPERATURE CONTROLS: Auto tuning microprocessor-based Watlow PM6 controller. ELEMENTS: Cress winds precision (digitally controlled element winder) high-temperature iron-aluminum alloy wire into elements and mounts them on the side walls in alumina plates. MODEL C136: assaying furnace has no bottom element and raised side elements 1" above the floor to prevent burnout due to spilling GENERAL CONSTRUCTION: Case constructed from heavy gauge sheet steel and finished in gray hammer tone enamel. The easily operated, counter-balanced door is always away from the operator. All walls and the door constructed of the finest quality -insulating firebrick backed by up with 1900^oF block insulation (there is no asbestos). The furnace comes complete with cord and plug.
