3 Gallon Pressure Filter - 8" diameter USA made with top quality components, this 3-gallon (8" Diameter x 14" Height) capacity batch pressure filter has numerous features which are an improvement over traditional designs yet is still competitively priced. The lid clamp screw utilizes acme thread which has much longer life and smoother action than standard threads. The hand wheel with speed handle greatly increases the ease and speed lowering and raising the lid. The new captured lid stays with the yoke assembly and eliminates additional handling. The yoke assembly tilts back and is self supporting so that the cylinder can be removed between batches. The base has a poly waffle grid drainage pattern. The base has a side drain for bench mounting. The lid seals with a full diameter vinyl gasket and the cylinder bottom seals against pre-wetted filter paper and cloth on the base. For 100% liquid recovery, the optional high-seal gasketed filter cloth should be used. This polyester cloth has a bonded vinyl perimeter and greatly reduces leakage. Complete with pressure gauge, safety relief valve, bleed valve, quick connect air coupling, filter cloth, and a package of 100 wet strength filter papers.
